Skinning ( Question )

hi, ive recently took skinning, and the mobs that i am skinning are orange to me, but when i skin them, it takes me about 4-6 times to get a skill from them -_- is this supposed to happen.. i put in a ticket to blizzard, but they hut me with some spell checked piece of shit that even the guy that wrote it couldnt understand.
im level 70, does it matter because they are gray to me ( level wise )?

Hmm, thats strange, normally if you are skinning stuff that is orange, it should work. Try and relog, if not resend the ticket.

1-300 I always got skillpoints from yellow/orange mobs but when I hit the outlands I had the same problem as you :x Please post if you find a solution.

Skinning was changed when outlands hit. I'm not sure why, but Blizzard felt the need to.

Just keep skinning...if it's orange, you'll still only get a chance, but I guess that's because there's a lot more things to skin then mining/herbal nodes.

yeah cause my skinning stayed orange... but that was back patch 2.0.12
