MMowned PVP Fight!!

Right well i thought that it would be fun if we had a huge PvP battle between the mmowned members. This may of already of been done but who cares? Its PvP. Also this will be for one day only, unless its a huge success then it will be every month or whatever.

Note: This will be on a private server.


Location:
Well i haven't given this as much thought as i should of done but it will ether be in Alterac Valley, or a remote area which i will try and flag as a pvp area, mabey use shadowmoon valley. Anyway its yet to be decided.

AV seems to be the best place atm as its a huge are and can be scripted well.

Guards Etc
Well with every one being level 70 there will need to be extreme guards to aid the players (if in AV or Shadowmoon valley). There will be loads of types of guards but effort to upload so ill give u a quick preview.

There will be the normal AV boss's such as Galv etc scripted as well.

Gear
Well where to start eh?
There will be vendors to sell you the gear, hopefully free of charge otherwise ill add that money vendor.
S3 should be available, if not S2 can be gotten.
Usual Tier vendors and PVP vendors etc.

Some custom PvP will be made as well to suite the class the best.

How the hell do i get to 70 in one day and get to the place?
Instant 70 or as close to it, haven't decided if i will raise the level cap or not. There will be portals at every starting place and once as many ppl as possible are in then we will start the countdown to start the battle.
Gates etc will be placed to stop people from starting early.

As said instant 70 will be given and we will added portals at the starting grounds so people can get to the PvP area quickly!

Hacks
Theres not much i really can do against people using hacks like wowemuhacker or whatever, but if you do use them in this event then your just a stupid person. Dont ruin it for yourself and everyone else around its a community event it should e fun not rubbish.

Host
Found a dedicated machine thats willing to host the event for us, so its great.

Database
Well this was the hardest part to go with. I will most likely get a few of the devs i know to create a database solely focousing on PVP, mabey just in those areas or mabey a global thing. This event is for one day only, bay happen more often e.g. once a month depends on how well this even goes.

Sounds like a great idea, i cant imagine how laggy it could get with all of the dmg and with people using AoE.

Darkei ill PM you and my pc is awesome i have opened 3 wow's and played wit h3 characters in orgrimmer in Peak time so it should hold . Ill do some tweaking to increase performance.

u can use my zofikazz pvp repack when it releases.. u can take a look at it and see if u like it, cuz i think its one of the best things i've ever done (it releases like in begin of february) anyways great idea

almost done... if u want the repack and host a few pvp events before it releases, u can do that until it releases all pvp sets changed a lil bit, so u can get critZzZzZz a lil bit higher like 10k
