Anything heavy works. Avenged is good, I'm more into black/death metal. Good "pump you up" music when fighting some baddies. Cradle of Filth, Obituary, Entombed.

Other times I will lighten it up a little and move toward Trivium, Shadows Fall, Bullet for my Valentine.

Oh, and it's gotta be played really loud =)
