    Help with model editing:)

    How do i use the edits i download from rapidshare and other sites? Etc if i download something to change Crusader to change into Potency or something like that? Or human male to blood elf. If anyone could reply i would be happy :wave:

    you download a file in a rar called .MPQ file.
    Rename that to for instance : patch-z.mpq(a-z) or patch-4.mpq(1-9).
    If you are using character model changings, you can recognise them when the character screen crashes, then you need modeleditfix.exe.
    The only working version of modeleditfix is only viewable by donators and contributors and are made for them.

    put the .MPQ file into your data folder (u can find it in your world of warcraft folder) then either download a MEF from google or get wowemuhacker (which comes with an allow model edits button and works on retail [dont use anything else tho]) if you use the MEF follow the instructions provided. if you use wowemuhacker start wow then start the hacker type in your username/pass and hit enter then hit the allow model edits button (if you get an error saying unable to validate game version try pressing the button a little later after u hit enter. and if you crash you didn't do it fast enough [i think the time spans something like 1 second to 5 seconds after you hit the login button])
