Hunter Ghost Wolf tamable pet!

Yes, with the 2.3 came out, there are a new possible pet to-be tamed!
It's a summoned pet of one of the grimtotems in dustwallow marsh!
There is only one problem trough:
The ghost wolf dies in matter of seconds, as it is summoned, won't last enough to be tamed.

Solution?

Since tame beast is affected by haste spells.

Here is the important part:

-You need a metagem called "Mystical Skyfire Diamond" (Thottbot World of Warcraft: Mystical Skyfire Diamond)
-You need to spam one of the aspect spells, to make the diamond proc.
-Get a shaman with yourself, and when the proc occurs, cast bloodlust.
-If you're a troll, racial helps alot, but you need the tame spell to finish in about 30-40% of the original time (50% with diamond and 30% berserking will be enough I think)
-Enjoy your Ghostwolf pet!

Thou it will be hard to level the pet, but it worths it.

Also take a priest with you to MC the npc shamen? and get it to summon the wolf

Looks, you cannot tame any other ghost wolves, besides this one.

Ghost (wolves) are usually undead.
This is the first time, when you can actually tame a pet like this.
And It also looks very cool!

They did, I think it should be categorized as "undead" rather than "beast".

Would this work with a shaman + rapid fire? That way low levels can tame it.

I'm not sure, you'll need the tame pet to reduce to about 7sec cast, you'd need troll berserking too I think.

I gotmyself one of these.

I had a Shaman and a Priest.

Shaman popped Heroism, Priest MC'd and I began spaming my aura's. Once i got the meta gem proc, the priest let the pets out, and i began to tame!

I used this macro:

/target Grimtotem Spirit Guide
/cast Tame Beast

You could add to guide that its doable solo with a troll.

Just get down to 10%hp or less so berzerk works to its full potential.

Here is the procedure i used: wait for him to summon first wolfies, after they die count to 10, start spaming aspects, if focus proces after max 3 aspects (STOP spaming after 3) use berzerk and wait for new dogs to come, if they come after focus expired bad luck wait 3 mins do again


also for taming i used the same macro yasha posted, macro cause you cant spare that 1 sec it takes you to manualy target>

Wolfs stay alive for a total of 8-9 seconds, so a 7,5 second tame cast should be enough with a quick reaction time.

Probably it could be done without a troll hunter, if you had a shaman and/or drums and good timing

meh...this is cool but im sure that after a while if your a level 50+ and you get this pet it will either become boring by training the pet against 50+ monsters (the pet will die alot) or just the fact that that having the pet for so long will just get boring..

but still kinda cool

In the next patch they are making it easier to level hunter pets. I can't wait

As far as I know, there are only two on my server so far. But who know's, someone could be stashing it in their Stables.

What do you guys think the chances are of blizzard taking them away from us?
