How do you protect yourself as a seller, from Paypal frauds, taking back money?
Rather offtopic, or is it? Anyway, how do you protect yourself as a seller of.. lets say world of warcraft accounts or gold, on ebay, for example, against possible scams? Such as a buyer takes your item, pays and then takes back the money, claims as item not received or whatever. Paypal agrees and sees the item as virtual and not-tangible, meaning there is no protection and you have lost. Any ideas? ID's for verification can be faked easily. I am about to add "Sofortüberweisung" which is a german/european direct-debit service like western union or skrill, working with the bank account directly. Totally safe, for me a legit seller. Are there ways how this can be made possible using Paypal? It's just convenience for most and when they read anything else, possible avoid the offer and I really dont want that aswell.

Keep in mind that buyer can still say that his credit cards were stolen and pp acc hacked.. If PP disagree with it, buyer just needs to go in bank and tell them that he had unauthorized transaction.. bank will automatically charge back and you lose your gold, plus ull have to pay 15e per transcation for chargeback.. stay away from pp

If I'm selling something on paypal I always set it up as an invoice with description of what I'm selling. That gives the seller some more protection and paypal more likely to rule in your favor if you have proof of the trade, which you should with images and screen recording. It also allows the buyer to buy without having a paypal account.
