Patch 2.0 (currently on PTR) and hacking? (campfire)

Sup folks,

I tried to get the following Campfire -> Dark Portal hack to work under patch 2.0 and it didn't work: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ght=darkportal

I copied speech2.mpq to the World of Warcraft/Data directory as well the PTR data directory (World of Warcraft/WoWTest/Data). I started up WoW. I placed a basic campfire down on the ground. Nada portal! Unless I did something wrong, I'm guessing it doesn't work in patch 2.0.

Do any campfire hacks work in patch 2.0? Do any wallclimber hacks work in patch 2.0? If any do, please let me know the names and/or a link of where I can get 'em.

I've been hearing about this cheat engine wallclimber hack notably, anyone test if it works in patch 2.0?

Well, to clarify, it's not a hack.

Also i'm not sure where you put it or if speech2.MPQ works with the PTR file, it might be common1 (or2).MPQ.

Also if you're having trouble doing it on live PM me and i'll do the change for you.

it does work on PTR ^^ i also did lots of other stuff as summoning ppl to GM island with my lock and 2 other randoms who also knew model editing ^^

Could you please explain how you got the campfire -> Portal to work on PTR?

It just doesn't do anything for me. Does it matter which campfire you put on the ground? (basic campfire, brighter campfire)

I took the suggestion above and renamed it to common2.MPQ or common1.MPQ and placed it in the World of Warcraft/WoWTest/Data directory.. but it still doesn't work.

I'm not sure, are you sure its working on live? Make sure it is so you know it works.

Also there are other extensions to WoWtest>Data.. try putting it in those :O

That's very much argueable....
