Wasn't sure where I should stick this, but here it is.
I was going through my old emails when I found I had mailed myself a copy of the helper tool I used as a GM. I used to email myself the code to work on it at home.
Anyway, I'm not attaching the whole tool; 1) It's useless without the actual GM tool, email and pre-formatted response tools to go with it, and 2) From having worked on it, it has my name and the name of others that worked on it all over it.
Sooo...I stripped out some of the fun stuff, purely for your own information and amusement. On the first Excel sheet is an old realm list (thought it has most of the realms still, surprisingly...the names for the realms were already listed far in advance of the actual launch of the realm). The reason this is amusing is that it shows you what actual data center the realm is in, and what time zone the realm is tagged with. It's rather interesting to see that the Pacific time zone realm you thought you were playing on is actually on the east coast somewhere. I still use this list to pick out ACTUAL pacific realms, so that I get the best latency possible for PvP and whatnot.
On the second page is an item list. Obviously, being old, it's not complete, but it has all of the item codes for each of the items. Not sure how useful it would be, but there are a lot smarter people out there who might find a use for it.
Finally, for fun, there is the list of emails (Sondas) we most commonly used. If you click on the lines that say "Thank you for contacting....", it will show the whole body of the email. It also shows the codes used to generically insert your account name, petition, and all that good stuff that gives Blizzard emails the personalized touch they are so famous for (<-sarcasm).
Anyway, like I said, this is really all for amusement and informational purposes...nothing earth shattering.
