Actually you dont have to make something to post it on mmowned and get rep.
The whole idea of rep is to give people a "thanks" to brining their attention to it.
At least that is how i see it, Also if i ever bring something to the community that isn't mine, i generally post a link tot he origional to give the owner credit as well.

From what i've seen, most people +rep to say "You spent some time on this, and you did a good job."

A guide posting how to farm primals going into description is alot better than somone saying "Lol, farm primals here:" with a thottbot link, despite it "Being brought to your attention"
