    Unexpected Surprise

First off, I realise this probably should be in the gold seller reviews sections, but I can't post there. Hopefully its interesting enough for me to justify me posting it here.

I ordered some gold from SwagVault, only 100g, but after the 12 hours they'd said I'd have it delivered in, I still didn't have it. I got onto their live support and had a chat with them, and was told they'd had a number of accounts banned that day so there was a delay on the gold, but I'd have it in a few hours. 6 hours later, still no sign, so I got onto them again, this time I got them to send somebody to trade it to me, instead of the in game mailing system, and I arrange to meet them in Stormwind. The character I was on was only 21, and I was partied with a friend and my girlfriend who were around the same level. Anyways, a level 70 rogue messages me asking for an invite into party, I bring him in and he trades me my gold. 'Great' I think 'I have my gold'.

Heres the surprise. He then asks me if I want a boost in SFK, offering to bring my friends along as well. We didn't have the flightpaths, so he flew with us to Loch Modan, and ran us the entire way, stopping so we could get flight paths, and protecting my girlfriends level 17 aggro grabbing ass from all the mobs in Wetlands and Arathi Highlands.

We head into SFK, and then he proceeds to slaughter everything while letting us loot every drop, while our mage skins everything in sight, and our level 17 seems to constantly try to get herself, and all of us, killed by attracting attention from mobs. The Rogue saved our asses quite a few times, and I had to rez the level 17 a fair few times.

Basically, SwagVault = slow gold delivery but great customer service ^_^
Alcoholism is a disease but it's the only the disease you can get yelled at for having. Damnit Otto you're an alcoholic. Damnit Otto you have lupus. One of these doesn't sound right.

    Re: Unexpected Surprise

This must have been a personal account.

Most gold sellers use empty "Lvl 1 accounts"

    Sounds good.

2 for 1 leveling and gold.

So basicly you made 1/2 of what you bought from loots.

    Good deal

Yup, some awesome drops too, our Mage got the Meteor Shard dagger dropped, Odo's Ley Staff dropped too, and I got some nice blue shoulders. Not to mention my Disenchanting got quite alot of work and I got quite a few nice enchanting mats from it all.

It also might have been, because the amount was so low - only 100g, it's fairly safe for a level 70 to be giving it away. It would be different with giving them 1000g, but 100 is obtainable fast, so blizzard won't think much of it.

Then they can also use that same character to run you through an instance, so if Blizzard looks back they don't see a gold seller, they see a friendly level 70 trying to help out.

Makes the company look better, not some guy that "You have gold, now leave me alone.", they run off the hopes that people tell others, which is being done, and it's overall a win-win situation.

    More service for the company.
    Help leveling for the person.

Pretty smart play on their part - however whether they'd do something like this OFTEN, guess we'll have to see.

A good point, that could have easily have been why. I've bought gold a fair few times, and usually in small quantitys like this, once before from this company (when the gold was late that time too) and I've never had this happen before. Something I'd not put in the original post, I'd been quite friendly with the person I was chatting to in the live support, and I'd spoken to the same person twice (a person called 'Power'), offering sympathy for the accounts of theirs getting banned and such, and I never got to the 'OMG GIMMEMAGOLD OR I'LL SUUUUUE' stage, instead it was more 'well hopefully I'll get it soon, and I can stop bugging you about it ' sort of chat, so its possible he decided to help me out. Whyever it happened, I was nothing but impressed, and I'd have to say they secured my next gold purchase, even if it does arrive late :P
