Want to Start a WoW/RMT Business? I'm here to answer your questions!
Hey guys.
I thought I'd post this thread after discussion with a couple of people for all those people that need help or advice with running and setting up, or are just curious about how a Boosting/RMT/Carry business is run.
I owned and operated such a business for close to 8 years, first as a hobby with a group of my arena partners, forming a legal company not too long after starting, and eventually hiring more employees, moving into other areas such as raid carries, Rated BGs, achievement/FoS farming, gold sales, TCG/Mount sales, high-end account sales as well as similar services in other games that my co-partner managed.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have regarding to any of it, both the "behind the scenes" aspects: accounting and management, building brands, order handling, payment methods, how accounts were managed and kept safe, or the "service" side, customer support and communications, advertisement, how to deal with customers, etc. Basically any question you have, I'll do my best to answer in detail.
There are some limits, I won't answer questions on the following for various reasons: taxation and setting up legal business entities (varies by country), legal advice, PvP piloting methods and account sales.
I hope whatever information I provide will be of benefit to those looking to get into, or want to improve their existing business. There's certainly a lack of solid information out there.

2 Questions.
First do you still do business?
and if so... Do you offer wholesale pricing?
When GW crashed the economy, my company struggled and eventually lost my leveling team. Trying to find a replacement, so i can get back in the biz, other then my niche spot in EQ1.

No. I sold the business earlier in the year because a lot of us were getting burnt out, especially with the state of PvP in WoD. I also wanted to move onto other things in my professional life, as did my business partner. We simply weren't having fun anymore, and it was turning into more of a chore than anything. It felt like the job was ruining our own game time and making it less enjoyable. It's part of the risk of running a business based on your hobby, in my opinion.
