A quick question on scamming

Alright, first off, as I'm sure you can tell I am pretty new to this site and am sorry if I am posting in the wrong place (but I think it I'm right). I've been scamming in basically every game I've played - except for WoW. My old account was banned a while back for botting, so I've been checking out some ways people do it and am intrigued.

Now I guess you wouldn't say this is a question on the scamming itself, but more or less the real life legality of it. I've looked through around nine pages of the General forums and haven't seen anything that lays it down clear cut, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.

Go read through the actual Scam forums. Those will tell you what you need to know. It gets brought up about every three threads or so.

Hope this helps. I won't tell you to lurk moar or anything, but, researching and reading is good.

Also: Search function. Try "legal ramifications of scams" or something.

its theft, so yeah its illegal. allthough its legally shady, as blizzard claim ownership of all wow content, its theft of the account ( which they pay for) but if you took gold or w/e its not illegal for that"
