Blizzard Support Accused me of credit card fraud?
A member of the blizzard support team accused me of credit card fraud and im scared this will go anywhere? I havent actually done anything bad, only thing is i got the account from a friend waaay back and the battle.net is in his name so i filled his name under my credit card information so it wouldnt raise a suspicion (Which it wouldnt have anyway) and i contacted them today about what their policy on changing name on battle.net accounts where and just said i had gotten the account from a friend (which was, regrettably, stupid) and they locked the account and accused me of credit card fraud. The one i spoke with on their live chat service was very harsh from the start. I dont care that it's locked, my friend can easely send me a picture of his drivers license or whatever and unlock it, im just curious if you think blizzard will do anything with these accusations alone? Nothing bad has occured though but its just so not neccessary to have to go though a whole police investigation or whatever for something so stupid as a video game user name.

They have nothing to report you for, you own the card and have been paying up until then. It's not like you stole the card and the real owner has charged back.
Just ignore it and put it down to whichever employee you spoke to having a shitty day.

I used my own money for everything though as it was my card, i only put his name so it wouldnt seem suspicious that the (battle.net) account wasnt actually mine
And im pretty sure Credit Card Fraud is stealing other peoples money in some way, if anything this would go under falsifying documents if anything?

Nah its your card, if he was using your card and putting his name on it then it'd be a different matter. Your situation is pretty much like me using my gfs card to pay my sub and just putting my name instead.

Its his card, hes not doing anything wrong in the eyes of the law by paying for a service with money and a card he owns.

Blizzard will hardly EVER do something to you as a person.
Aslong as the offense is against a PERSON, The only thing blizzard can do is to suggest the victim takes it to the police and blizzard will help provide evidence at their request. Anything related to outside the game is -NOT- bizzard's responsibility and they can not press charges on others behalf. They can lock your account. Anything above that is outside thir EULA and TOS.
