    Low FPS on 3.3.5a with a R9 290

    I have low FPS with the 3.3.5a client on a R9 290, for example in Dalaran (slightly crowded) with max settings but low shadows I have around 40 fps.

    I thought it was good but it turns out similar cards achieve 200+ there, so I was wondering what could be wrong.

    No, computer is not throttling due to overheat. CPU is i7 4790k.

    Any help appreciated.
