Final Warning and Transferring Characters to New Accounts

My main account from 2005 was recently 72-hour banned and placed on final warning (for what basically amounts to excessive trolling). I know that there are people out there with multiple final warnings indicating that Blizzard probably uses a point-based system before reviewing an account and that these points diminish over "good streaks" over time.

But I'm curious. Bar the obvious "just don't be a shitlord in Trade and LFG" comments, I was wondering if I could move my main characters onto a fresh account under my last name and a different email in order to "clear" the suspensions (just to be safe). This would entail buying another copy of WoD and resubbing, which is fine.

Blizzard arent stupid. They can see this transfer and make the 1+1=2 connection. This will however cheese the automated suspension system.
If you keep being a dick and getting reports on this new account and acquire a new *final* warning, they can look at your other account and see the penalties you have and then re-judge the warning.

Penalties are stored on an account to account basis. Back in 2007 (this is a long time ago), I had a final warning, and transferred my character to another account just for that reason, I had another suspension later, and that was a 3 hour one.

There is also evidence to support that this is still the case, take for example all the unmerged accounts people merged to their own battle net. The unmerged ones were usually banned shortly after, but they were able to migrate any valuable characters to their main account, without the main account being touched by the great ban hammer at all.

It is also true that account penalties clear up over time (I have had a GM telling me this after I asked this question), however it is not known the time it takes for this to happen.

simply put play on moonguard it's the wild west of warcraft, there is a guy who says at least 5 times a day "YIFF YIFF!" followed by "I PAW YOUR THIGH, YOU MOAN!" and he's considered a hero of the server. or find better ways to troll somethings aren't reportable. I've gotten multiple final warnings.

As Disphotic mentioned,
All the penalties are stored on the WoW license only, not even covering the whole battle.net.

So since you are under final warning, just open another wow within your Bnet account and x-fer there. The new license will be clean off penalty actions.

Regarding the clearing up over the time, from several cases happen over my accounts, I am confident the timewindow is not more than 6 months.

Have at least 4-5 gathering accounts, receiving multiple 72h +Final warning penalties, but outside the 6 months window each. All of the accounts, which received ban less than 6 months after the first 72h suspension, were permanently banned
