I'll keep this brief.

I don't believe it's 100% people buying tokens with cash and reselling them for gold. That doesn't make sense, number wise.

I'm getting a feeling blizzard is cracking down on botting harder than before due to they literally are losing money by gold subs. I haven't met a single person who has actually purchased a token (for resell), not to mention if there is a few people selling tokens; they can only buy 10 per month.

Numbers don't add up. I've purchased dozens for all of my accounts, and there doesn't appear to be a shortage at all.

I'm rambling, but also intrigued.

No sorry, I meant Real money -> Gold, like people spending $20USD for 23k gold (in US)

Out of all the people I know who play WoW, including RL friends & guild members I know of one who sold one token once.

There are A LOT of players in World of Warcraft. And if we've learned anything from mobile, some people will spend an exorbitant amount of money for little reward.

I have a feeling that blizz can ban botting char/GB with tons of gold, after that GM logs in and buys some tokens for gold :P

I always wondered that aswell - I know exactly 1 person who has bought the token for $$. And the reasoning was along the lines of "I want to have above xx amount of gold", he's supercasual and doesnt make any gold otherwise, so :P
