Otherwise maybe it's a problem in the Downloader itself, you should be able to go to the WoW site and redownload the program. That way you don't have to worry about finding a different site every time a new patch comes out.

Same shit happening to me...
Lucky the patches are often small so it only crashes while its updating.

Hey, *If you really want to use the "downloader thingie" :
If indeed you are use a NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller, then try and disable the segmentation Offload in the properties menu

Start -> control panel -> network connections -> R-click [NetworkName]
Select properties, new window opens up click on the Configure button next to the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller and go to TAB andvanced
segmentation Offload -> Disable

Hope it helps [did for me and me lil bro ]

Otherwise, just download the patch from somewhere
