fear of account getting banned

Okay so i have a question regarding the now closed down account merge stuff.
I did buy a few unmerged accounts and transfered some character with titles achivements etc
i heard from a buddy who did the same that he got some character that was previously transfered from a unmerged account back after some customer support. I decided to do the same with one of the accounts i had bought,i quickly got a response that the account i had merged and tried to recover the previously transfered character (they where transfered by the orginal owner before i merge it on my battle.net account) that the account and a few others where not mine and got locked.

since i transfered some characters from the now locker account i fear that my man account will be banned for this, Is it possible that my main or whole b.net account will be banned?

Whole battle.net unlikely -- Main account MIGHT but again unlikely, Most of the time its just the unmerged accounts that get locked.

Probably not, but there is chance that they will revert your transfer and return characters in question back to original account.

I'f they haven't reversed the characters you've transferred over yet then most likely it won't happen.

All unmerged accounts become locked until photo ID of the original owner is sent in to unlock the account.

Its been a few weeks since they locked the accounts up , still nothing had happened, Is there anything i can do to prevent them from reverting the transfer? I have lived in constant fear of getting my main account banned for this,i have two earlier banns for boting pvp on the main account even tho its a few years ago, i really dont wanna lose it, ive had it since 2006 and have invested alot in it.

No there is nothing that you can do to prevent reverting transfer.

I bought like 6 accs last year, think like 4 of them got banned. All I did was play some and log those accs when i had to afk irl and act like I was doing stuff in main cities so blizzard wouldn't think that I bought unmerged accs, that was of course the accs that I actually wanted to keep in case I wanted to transfer one of those characters to my main, rogue for example with a tabard of the protector. The rest had some HKs and few mounts/achieves and feats that would be acc shared anyways if they got banned, which they did after 2 days, and absolutely nothing happened to my main accounts in the same b.net. You should be safe

i didn't know you can transfer characters to another account that was not under the same name.
