I've respec'ed so many times with my Paladin.. can't decide if to be holy, retri or prot..lol my next respec is like 50g.. maybe more..

What would be a good spec that is essential in every group as a Paladin?

Protection spec for instancing... all you need is a decent set of healing gear to heal 5 mans, don't need to spec holy for it.

For heroics... you're better off going Holy unless you have a set of excellent tanking gear for tankadin.
