Garrisons didn't ruin anything related to gold selling. High increase in amount of botters and dupes decrease the value of the gold every day and also add Chinese botters/exploiters to that.

Current gold price on high pop US servers are 12 cents per 1k. Now throughout history of wow, gold price has steadily declined through each xpac but never as fast as this xpac. I started selling gold when MoP came out which was when I found this site. Back then you'd get $0.50 to $0.65 per 1k at the beginning of the xpac and it dropped to about $0.40 per 1k and stabilized save for a few times when market was saturated. Fast forward to WoD....I bought the xpac for 160k gold which roughly translates to $0.30 per 1k. For the last month or so, chinese middlemen are offering only $0.10 to $0.15 per 1k. I'm afraid the days of easy gold selling using chinese middlemen are over. Just can't justify the effort put in for such a small sum. Right now I'm looking at selling directly to end users or maybe give up altogether and find something else. I'm not even botting anymore save for fishing for an hour or 2.

no one is trolling but there is a few confirmed dupes at the moment.

best way to make money is to sell privately.

im still selling to guildies when they want to buy for around $0.50-$0.70/1K. as no one wants to buy off level 1 characters and trading gold between guildies is near 100% safe.


but with my excess gold im just stock pilling and hopefully once new raid tier comes out people are gonna need gold to buy the new boe's and meaning a more in demand of gold.

It is much more than 0.1USD/1k. They set this price, because they don't need our golds, they have their own, duped one, almost for free.

Well. Atm the best way to earn some money is reselling. Even tho market price is low, you can set some % of steady profit from every trade. If whole market price goes down, you set your suppliers price even lower that makes you the same money at the end. Even though, you should lose probably some money on start to get some reputation instead and make some partnership. Selling gold nowadays is useless while whole EU and US price is dead. You could farm gold all day and have poor profit from it. Bots are getting banned massivly.
So things to solve this problem is:
1)focus on botting(you should have good pc, and you must count down costs overall, electricity, accounts buying all the time, etc)
2)advertise yourself to make some partnership. Look for cheap suppliers(botters) that can delievr you gold and sell it even cheap to your partners.
