If the phrase isn't directed at someone, it's not their business nor concern. "You getraped" vs "getraped". The whole offended thing gets taken WAY out of proportion online. There is literally NOTHING to trigger any fears, since "you" are not the one experiencing anything in the game. You can counter your fears by simply pressing a button or walking away, unlike real life. If a fictional thing in a video game causes problems, that means the person offended needs to see someone for help; not for the thing that offended them, but for the person who was offended. I've got a crushing fear of Pierrot clowns to the point where one in real life could easily stop me in my tracks and instigate an instant fountain of cold sweat, but if it ain't real, it doesn't bother me. My friend got stabbed a while back when he was just walking down the street (not a mugging, just a random stabber), and he got over his fear of sharp things really fast. Some things I can understand like arachnophobia, since insects and arachnids do look like aliens and are really good at jump scares, but for something like a WORD to bother someone? No. Just no.

It's a game, not real life. Get over it. That's just how I see it.

As for the name itself, that was pretty much a free ticked for a name change. Pretty obvious that would have been reported asap. Could have been a bit more subtle like Retgaped or departeg, but that's a day off to think of some subtlety, now isn't it?

It's even worse on the official wow forums, hurt someone's feelings and you'll be banned quicker than you'll even get to post. It's like they actually care more about idiots who'll report you for nothin rather than fixing their game. Something broken in the game? Wait 2 months and we might fix it
