Got 1000k, want 1000k (help)

Hey all,

So, I currently am at the gold cap. Now I would like to start earning some gold. I know you need money to make money so I figured to get some first. Now my method of getting to 1000k was way to slow and feel like I want to do something more pro-active and faster...

I never "played the AH" and I keep hearing that is a good method. Soo my question, can anyone help me with tactics that actually work to make gold fast (even if it requires a hefty intitial investment ? Anyone who can guide me to my next 500k gets my eternal gratitude and 200k, or whatever it is you want

Playing the AH isn't really that hard but at the same time it is if you're not sure how to.

best thing to do is download TSM and auctionator addons, they will tell you what you could make for how much and how much profit you will get.There really isn't much to invest in at the moment that will give you huge returns other then crafting gear as herbs and ore are dirt cheap and getting cheaper by the day.

If you're a enchanter and have the Mark of the Shattered Hand formula currently all you need is 1 Temporal Crystal which i pick up for 400g each and make the enchants and sell them for around 900g each and since first night of raiding was out yesterday i ended up selling well over 100 enchants in 3-4 hours making me a lovely 40-50K profit just off those.

And if you're not a enchanter maybe got a guildy who can make it or find someone from trade and pay them a small fee to make them for you.

I've build several AH addons/software/profiles for honorbuddy that take "live" cached data of the auctionhouse, to buy cheap and resell. I've made over 15mil gold during MoP doing it, and I continue to do well, even without much botting.

I'll be building a new updating profile soon, if you want to hold on to your gold (right now everything is super high priced, not worth expanding except for old profession stuff; bags, BiS heirloom enchants etc.)

A risky but potentially very profitable method of "playing the AH" is just flipping expensive items. One time I bought a mount for 70k, put it up for 300k, waited for it to expire, then put it up for 170k and it sold within a couple hours. Other times, you'll be sitting on a mount for months with no sales.

i bought about 4 tcg mounts for around 300K 4 months ago and tried selling them at current server prices (all up be around 750K) wasn't selling and had to decrease them heavily but still made around 200K profit but was long time investment.

Now my server has around 15 of each tcg mount which most likely are dupped and are all from one person.

Most effective way of making gold has got to be botting. Other than that, there are a few methods such as Selling BoE's from Pug groups in Highmaul, or Playing the AH. Its not that hard, its a simple buy low sell high.

Tip: sometimes people just put the item price only on buy out,but the bid price is set to 1s to like 10g.Simply by mistake,their mistakes your profit.
Also you can find a lot of item seller,but you`ll have to make them an insistent offer with a lower market price.
When you want to raise the price on an item with has rare drop chance,but still it`s on AH.You can buy out your competitors and sell them all at your price.But it`s risky.

But sometimes, someone will bid on an item worth like 2k gold and he will only bid 2 silver then when it expires, you are screwed.

Playing on AH works for me, simply buying for less and selling it later for more. Since you have gold to spend it seems that for you its not a problem to invest or wait for gold to come back. Only thing you need to do is to be familiar with the prices, but these days u can do that with add ons. Basicaly you have everything you need to start, gold and addons, so just place a tent and camp by AH
