WoW New Account Activate HELP PLZ

Hey when you activate the account and when it says to activate you must put in a debit card / credit card? Do you just hit the X button and get out of the site and it still activates? Ive read it on here somewhere. Please help I dont have a CC to put on there to charge me $1.00 or w/e it is for the first 30 days.

What if I dont even have a CC to put in when im on the step 4 payment method.
