Selling gold on two different battle.net accounts

Hello there, I recently found this site and decided to make an account as I'm getting into the selling gold business.

And I have this quesiton that I can't really come up to an answer to searching in this forum and on google. So here it is:


I have two battle.net accounts, one is mine and one is my brothers. My brother gave me his account to use and I'm planning on sellng the gold on that account, as the ban won't hit me that hard, it's basically mine to do with what I want.

However, my brother has this one character on that account that I would really like to transfer to my account before it gets banned, and as I have no money I cannot transfer the character before I sell the gold, so my plan is basically: Sell the gold>instantly when I received the payment, transfer the character from his account to mine>get his account banened in worst case.

Now to the real tricky question, as I committed the banable offense before I transferred the character, will that character that I transferred get the banhammer aswell? Will my battle.net account be affected therefor?

You forgot one minor thing ! The names on the bnet account have to be the same in order to transfer characters from one account to the other!

I mean, me and my brothers last name are the same? Shouldn't that suffice?

Oh and also, if I trade 500k+ to a level 1 on my brothers account, that shouldn't raise a flag right, since we have the same last name and all?

It will raise a flag for sure. But you'll be able to explain it. You still might get a temp ban...

You mean it'd raise a flag by just giving my brother that gold? Or if I sold it later?
