Is solo-chess event fixed in 2.2?

I am finding mixed messages about this all over. Can anyone confirm, for sure, whether or not you are still able to solo the chess event in Kara in 2.2?

Some are saying the pieces do not spawn if you dont kill X or Y boss and then some retort and say its just a bug whene they dont spawn?

Any confirmations regarding what the deal is here?

I only know stuff from befor patch 2.2 and that is: The mobs detect stealth/invisibility and the pieces only spawn when done Operah. dont think anything changed, but not sure

The fleshbeasts detect invisibility; this is certainly true. You can still get past them obviously using soulstone/ankh/etc.

What you are saying about opera is the conflicting info. I've been hearing. Some people say the pieces wont spawn unless you do that but I've also heard its just a bug when they dont spawn...

Trying to see if someone knows FOR SURE, i.e. someone who has tried it since 2.2. I plan on trying tonight so ill report back if no one knows.

If its 100% confirmed 'fixed' i wont waste my time though

i think the walljumping at the beginning got nerfed, there's like this invisible wall there.

ya u can no longer do the walljump and im not able to edit this as noggit only does prebc non wmo, ill read up more and see if i can make a fix...

The wall jumping is impossible now. So unless someone finds another way, you gotta earn your way

I haven't heard about the Requiring Of Opera for the Chess Event but seems like smart way to guard such issues.

u guys are given all these tools for model editing and the walljump is worrying u?!?! the only thing that should slow u down is the opera thing..nothing more than that.

model editing is apparently nerfed in 2.3 so that's a moot point too. plus i'm playing on a fgt ass mac that doesn't let me run .exes T_T.

I think my guild's got a Karazhan ID with Opera down. I could try to make my own way to chess event and see if it works. I'll think about it later.
