ive seen people on the PTRs with thousands of gold, how the hell they get so much? lol

Selling starting armor and making a new guy i suppose. Also if you start out with great gear you can just go solo some instances.

Some people have their friends pool a bunch of gold all together right before they do the Character Copy transfer, that way they end up on PTR with all the gold they pooled from their guild and friends. They then recycle the gold around other guildies/players and character transfer copy... voila, thousands of gold on PTR.

one day i wanted to have thousands so i made a mage, went to ghostlands, sold ports for 300g each in groups of like 10 at a time. I made like 100 thousand in half an hourthen realised something. Whats the point of gold on the PTR anyways?

They sell portals for like 8k gold :P
