Fake disconnect?

I've been trying to think of a way to trick the wow servers into thinking I've disconnected from the game entirely yet have myself still be in game fully functioning. Amy ideas? Even possible? Packet limiter? Lag switch? Thanks for any reply

Well I'm no professional in such things, but I think the only possible thing is the offline mode as the servers have to answer for certain things.
And for an answer your computer has to send a request - so the servers will always know when you are online. I hope that makes any sense to you :P
