Transfering characters

I made a trade with some dude, but i wanna be able to transfer that traded character to my main account, it says on the page that if i am not the rightful owner of this account (traded one) that it will result in a ban. What would i need to do? change address etc to my main account address and then do the transfer. Anyone who has done this before?

The last names have to be the same, and you cannot change this even by calling Blizzard (I tried). You either need to make a new acc with his acc's last name or live with that.
