Any fun tricks with 90 boost?

I am talking about having 90 lvl warlock at the goblin start area with fly skill and summon spell...monk, DK & worgen areas also.
I did not use my boost yet, i am wondering if this also relocates your character to major city GY or not.

Not anymore. Have done about 10 boosts so far...
Or there's a difference between a WoD and a shop boost. I'm always starting at the golden lantern with my alliance chars.

Ah I see in the changelog:

A hot fix should have changed spawn point for boosted characters to their respective Shrine (Shrine of Seven Stars or Shrine of Two Moons) in Vale of Eternal Blossoms

Yes
It does reset your quest log. So be careful

There are some fun tricks, but they are quite bannable, like queueing for low lvl Dungeon/BG, then logoff, boost to 90, and accept the Dungeon/BG invite as 90!

I have seen some reports from people done this, and soon after got passed by Game Master, asking questions, or simply disconnecting you for the good of community

Yes
It does reset your quest log. So be careful

However, this could have distinct advantage, such as getting 2 of the same weapon from a completed quest or 2 different quest rewards from the same quest.

Also, I just had an idea... What if you collected the one-time BOA collection of certain items in Pandaria or the finding of all those grays that vendor for ~100 gold?

I will have to test this theory when I get the expansion for my 5th account.

You can get double world boss kills. Eg, Kill Celestial, boost, now eligible for loot again within that raid lock out.
