Event for warlords of draenor?

Will there be a event for WoD. We saw the dark portal open for BC, The zombie raid for WOTLK, the major cities attacked by elements for cataclysm, and i dont think they did a event for MoP. I am wondering will we see a event for Wod, or even a opening one, like the dark portal opening, because garrosh is going to open up the old portal or whatever.

I am quite sure they said the event would be that both alliance and horde go through the new dark portal to stop the iron horde from coming through and establishing a foothold within draenor. (or something along those lines)
