Giving a large amount of Gold to my friend (RL cash Trade) Safe or not?

Hello guys, I'm new here!

So three months ago I had to stop raiding and started making gold instead. I had the goal to reach goldcap once. Now I'm here and I really can't take it anymore, I have to stop playing. Instead of wasting it I'd like to sell the gold.

Now my guildfriend (who invited me into this guild 4 months ago) wants to buy it all. We are friends for a long time already, and we're chatting every other day or so!
Is it possible to just tell the people in the guild chat that I'm quitting (I'm really going to), tell them that I'll give all my money away to my friends (They constantly ask me how much I have already and what I am going to do with it)

Then simply trade my friend 1 million gold face to face and quit the game?



Would itbe smarter to ask a game master and announce my doing? ("I have no use for this gold, it's only gold. I rather give it to my friend and his 9 alts then using it on a stupid expensive mount)

Or would that get me flagged and increase the danger of the guild bank method?

Don't bring Blizzard into it at all. They have logs of all of you and your friends messages to each other. Therefore, if they see that you are simply quitting and giving the gold away to your friend, I don't think they will care. When you do trade with him though, make sure not to mention any sort of payment, and be sure to PM him soppy stuff like "good luck with the gold" blah blah

True story.

My buddy "Joe" and I had never met before in real life, in game we arena'd all the time and chatted. Well, I moved to New York, and he happen to be 10 minutes away from my new job! Long story short, we exchanged gold for real life money and he got banned a half hour later.

Blizzard has auto-detection stuff behind the scenes. You will get flagged and banned probably, but you can appeal it by a real person seeing the logic behind it. But don't be surprised if you get in trouble by the automation system.

I know a lot of people who are very rich in game and constantly give gold out to their friends or guild mates. What they do it make a ticket before they do the trade explaining they are giving the gold to their friend to start up or something, tell them your reason (dont say your selling the gold) and you should be fine.

I give out about 50 or 60k a day to people in my guild and friends list just out of boredom and not once have I had a GM talk to me or anything pop up on my account. Just don't make it look like you're selling gold :P

I once traded 600k to a friend who put it on a guild bank he transfered to our new realm. He traded it back to me after the transfer and non of us heard from a GM

Just put the gold in the bank of your guildfriend in several time. You are in the guild since 4 months, there won't any flag of Blizzard. Don't speak of gold selling IG, Blizzard tracks all conversations
