HonorBuddy Likely Detected By Warden, Tripwire Has Been Activated - 13/12/13

Blizzard may have activated a detection routine and Honorbuddy will be offline until we are sure we know what is happening.
Rest assured that we are taking your account safety seriously and will not bring Honorbuddy back online until we are sure it will not cause a mass loss of accounts.
Forums will remain open for threads and posts, however constant new threads about Tripwire, excessive spamming, personal attacks, etc. will not be tolerated.
Action will be taken accordingly.

There will naturally be some questions regarding Tripwire. Here's all we're willing to say:

Bliz anti-botting is not straight-forward.

• It started with Warden, and now the Warden has friends.
• Bliz can activate and/or update detection mechnanisms on the fly.
  It does not require a new drop of the WoWclient to add new detection mechanisms.
  New mechanisms can easily be put in place and activated while you are playing the game.
• Tripwire is both 'static' protection and re-active protection to Bliz Warden&friends updates.
  Tripwire also has some other things going on.
• There is no ETA on getting online again.
  You're WoWaccount safety is our highest priority, and we'll take whatever time necessary to check out the situation thoroughly, and make any needed corrections.

Our precautions not withstanding, botting is always a risky proposition. You should always be prepared to lose your accounts. If this is not your mindset, you should not be botting.

Please do not open any threads on the topic--we will not say any more about Tripwire or this situation.
Information acquired from the Community will be speculation, and more than likely, completely inaccurate.

Blizzard recently activated their "HonorbuddyDetection" method that we have discovered a while back. After detailed investigation, we've made improvements to our anti detection measures to be safe for the future which requires a new release. The release will be pushed pretty soon.

Yea, I activated my bot like 2 minutes before the tripwire went active, luckily it was not on my main account!

Damn, i just bought a 3 day trail for my account, i have been botting 3 hours straight on my main account BGBuddy, i went to eat came back saw wow closed try to login back see this tripwire :S i hope i dont get banned and damn this botting was just getting so fun

Yep, a lot of accounts got banned during 4-6th December, some people even reported to get their first ban ever in 3+ years of botting, so I'd say keep low-profile until there will be more info.

UPD: Also check DemonBuddy's ban section reports, seems like a huge banwave just hit them as well.

Well, don't post that info in public as well, GMs are *most likely* reading the forums, there is a topic on HB forum about guy managing to appeal the permaban down to 72hrs and after posting that on HB, GMs reevaluated his actions and flagged his account for permaban once again. Maybe just coincidence, but at the moment it is a perfect time to go full paranoid.
