Old SOR accounts worth it?

As the title states I was thinking about buying a bunch of old SOR accounts in hopes of getting some rare stuff, I know its hard to know the chances but is it worth it? I wont be using the free lvl 80s or anything, just hoping of getting old vanilla and TBC stuff.

Yes it is worth it but you have to buy epic sor accounts and be lucky

I bought 3, first one was quite nice, had a few old toons with some FoS like hand of adal and some lower vanilla pvp titles, but nothing really epic, which is what i was essentially looking for, bought two more, 1 had just 1 80 pala with nothing at all except 20k hks, and the last account only had 1 level 35 mage, despite it had been paid for about 3 years worth of gametime, idk if I got very lucky with the first, or very unlucky with the two others

all accounts were 40+ months

Just a word of warning with these "40+ month Epic SoR" accounts, this basically means they were able to look at a payment history and see that it goes back 40+ months. That is all, it could be a hardcore raider who never missed a sub since day one, or it could be someone who payed for a month took a 3 year break then tried the game again.

In my experience don't expect more than a toon you can instantly boost to lvl 80. The best I ever got was a scout, knight-lieutenant and spirit of competition tabard FoS. Not that its unknow for people to get amazing accounts from time to time.

If I get accounts and fins out I dont like whats on it can I then sell the account to recoup some of the money lost?

You could, but if there isn't anything good on the account, no one will buy it only for the 80 character.

Theres only one thing in particular Im looking for. So even if some rare badass stuff Id prob sell it.
