Patching Question

I'm upgrading vanilla WoW 1.21 to WOTLK 3.3.5. Currently downloading the BC and WOTLK expansions and wotlk patches. Do I need to install TBC patches as well before i can install WOTLK?

AFAIK You can just get the WotLK patches, (If I'm wrong, it's as simple as the repair tool back to 1.12 or 3.0 / 2.0 then repatching properly) but I do specifically remembering just patching for what I needed.
