Well its offical, I got owned today by a key logger. I was sleeping and my friend called me and asked me to help him with his alt, I said ok let me log on. He said "What do you mean let you log on? You allready are on." So now im thinking WTF. NO one knows my account at all... So I try to log in and kick whoever is on my account off...my password is changed...I'm thinking "Ok no big deal, ill just retrieve it through my email." So I tried that....and my email registered to my account was change. THE BASTARD GOT MY SECRET QUESTION! HOW?!?? WTF?!? He changed all the info on my account....now it is offically his..Btw my account was a full tier 2 druid with 2 tier 3. and my other 60 is a full tier 1 war with some tier 2... Right now I'm not all that mad because I'm just curious as to what program this guy was using... Usually a keylog works by opening a bad link and the keylogger installs itself into your comp. But I haven't downloaded anything within the past month... w/e I'll just re-level... /sigh

run a virus scanner and tell me the name of what it finds...

and btw if you call up blizzard and show them proof that you got keylogged i believe they will give you your account back...

Actually, if you've been using IE recently that's probably why you got wtfpwned. Theres been some REALLY bad exploits going around, all you have to do is visit a website and they can download malware on your comp without you even knowing.

Keyloggers dont log stuff you dont type, so unless you have told someone your question theres no way they could know it

Why would he have to call you if he could talk to you in-game?

Ok theres a few flaws in here....Unless you had a Keylogger since you STARTED YOUR ACCOUNT which i dont belive you would because most likley the keylog would steal it by then....IT CANT GET YOUR SECRET WORD! because when do you like ever ever ever type that in..2.How do you know it wasnt your friend most likley friends know the secret awnser and if he knows your password its arguabley fair for him to say....Free account...ill just lie about someone beign on he will freak out and i get free Druidz..3.If what you said is true get norton spyware and run for viruses and then send name to blizz and they will ask you to get msn and use remote assistance and get on your computer to check if your telling the truth...They will make your account called a Lockdown which means No one can change password unless they enter 3 secret words that are un keylogable because blizz types them in for you XD...THEY CANNOT RETRIVE LOST ITEMS...
