    Banned after F2F Trade

    Hey, I was banned this morning after a Face to Face trade last night for "Exploitative Activity". I've sold lots of gold by mail on this account before, and a couple by F2F never in excess of 50,000. Last night's was 200k. So is there some Arbitrary threshold of trade that flags an account? Does anyone know what that Threshold is? Does trading by gbank do the same thing?

    Well I think Mailing/Face to Face trading is just a bad idea. It's obviously going to get picked up by Blizzard, especially when you do it a lot. Guild Bank is probably the safest option for trading, it's not any less detectable, but someone putting money into a guild bank is much more feasible than someone just handing another random player gold.

    Because if you read the actual thread, he didn't buy gold. He sold it. Selling gold is against ToS, buying is not. Impact of Buying Gold - Shop - World of Warcraft to a battle.net post from blizzard to try to avoid gold buying, but saying it's still legal to buy.

    Almost sure.

    I already bought or sold gold to Chinese Seller :

    If you buy you receive one email with this link Impact of Buying Gold - Shop - World of Warcraft.
    If you give gold to buy mounts / items or sell gold, you will be ban at a time.
    --> several accounts permaban ^^

    And my Chinese friend told me that all days his account are banned by Blizzard;

    It's true that trading with someone on a Chinese IP is a higher risk than trading with someone who has EU, however, no matter how, with whom or how much you trade, you always risk a ban. That's why you use a mule. There's really not many rules here, most people believe its safer to trade with guild bank, however, I've traded 800k many times face2face, just to have the mule account banned during a 15k guild bank trade. So really, whatever you prefer. But do use a mule account on a different IP, might save you some trouble.

    Peace!
