How they're duping Spectrals, and other sell-able mounts.

So, i figured this one out using a couple of Lovebird mounts, and some left-over GM knowledge i had from back in Cataclysm, duping the Legendaries.

So, what you need...
- Atleast two accounts on the same Battle-net. (The more the better), With Active subs. -> I USED THREE <-
- "A GM who is willing to help"
- A Mount, which is Binds on Used.

How To:
Log in on Both accounts.
Purchase and use a mount on one of the accounts(Account A).
Quickly Open a GM ticket and tell them that you accidently learned the wrong mount and that you wish it unbound.
If the GM unbinds it for you, you'll get it by mail.
Now, on your second and third account, you should still see the mount in your Mount-Log.
Keep Account "B" Online, and relogg with Account C.
The mount should now once again be shared throughout the entire battle.net again.


Repeat the steps and you'll see how the mounts keep popping up, cheaper and cheaper.


Screenshotting isn't really worth it, with lovebirds being sold at 1-2k on my server.

I still don't get it. You get 1 mail with 1 new mount and then you have 1 mount learned. As far as I see all that you have done is to learn it while keeping the item that learns it.

Still makes no sense, "do it all over again", do what all over again, you won't be able to learn the mount since it's already in your mount log, so what are you supposed to do "all over again"? And especially, get GM to do it "all over again" as well? You think they wont get supsicious when you "mistakely learned wrong mount" 10 times in a row in an hour?

Either OP didn't explain it good enough or I just don't see it - what does this whole thing achieve other than having the mount item and having the mount item learned? (So technically, it's not dupe, but "learning the mount without consuming the mount")

if you can unbound the mount couple of times you get the items , so you get the mount duped because it doesnt get removed from your mount list, so you can sell the item, unbound again,sell again ..etc

What it gather from it and how I got it to work for me.


1) Log onto Account A and Account B

2) Learn the mount on Account A

3) Ticket a GM on Account A saying that you accidentally clicked to learn the mount.

4) Whilst still logged on to Account A and Account B, get the mount returned to your bags.

5) The mount will now not be shown in Account A mount log but will be in their bags, but the mount will show in Account B's mount log.

6) Log Account C the mount will be in the mount log. If this is the case then that means that you followed the instructions correctly. (Might also work with relogging Account A instead of logging into Account C but I haven't tested that)

7) After confirming that the mount is in your mount log on an Account that isn't Account B, feel free to relog Account A and sell off the mount in your bags.

Hopes this helped those still having a problem.

Also a version method could possibly work with the free blizz store mounts but I haven't had a chance to test it yet.
