Selling gold and not getting my main banned.

Ok so I have like 1.5mill gold and I'd like to sell off a good chunk of it. Last time I sold like 120k and my account got perm banned a couple days later. I don't want this to happen this time. Would it be possible to give my gold to my 2nd account and then sell it? Or transfer my main to my 2nd account then sell it and let my main account get banned ( I just want my main character)

Selling gold and not getting my main banned.

Just use a guildbank for it:

    1. Purchase level 25 guild (most are less than 50k gold nowadays).
    2. Upload the guildbank with your 1mil gold for selling.
    3. Invite the buyer to the guild, and just give him the guild leadership.

Correct me, if thats not safer than the common f2f or guildbank-withdraw methods.

P.S. And one alternative, 1st change the guild leadership to a vanilla account, owned by you (as middleman) then change it to the buyer.

Why would you buy a level 25 guild? Just make a level 1 guild, done this 100 times..

The absolute best way is that I do is to sell to friends and family, there is only benefits from this. Usually you can sell at $1.5/1000g, which is my flat rate.. and you'll never get flagged for suspicious activity. I've traded for upwards of upto 200k without a hitch and never been banned from selling to them since you never interact with foreign IPs. Also they can always be trusted no charge backs and usually instant trading. I always pool money to my main (non-bot) and trade it via face to face.

The downside is if you sell massive amounts of gold then you'll need a bigger network of friends.

I have sell approximately 15 millions golds, i bought a lots of items of Gold Sellers (chinese) and I've never been ban.

My main advice is to make the trade like this: your buyer write "sell pets" on the trading channel, you ask him the price you purchased it for an amazing price, Blizzard sees a truth trade because it is a genuine exchange (pets against gold coins).

You can delete your low char too who realize the trade and give amounts like 119 599 + 401, not exactly 120 000.

Having sold about 8 million gold with zero bans this is what I do...

I have a separate $5 battle.net WOW account (AS in the game up through WOTLK) -- this account I NEVER LOGIN TO at home IP and on my laptop I login through a VPN. I go to a coffee shop or university public login and so on. Remember, even loging into the battle.net web login counts, not just your game.

This separate account I have as a member of a lvl 25 guild I own as an officer position in the guild. This guild is just a restricted any person can join type of guild that has zero bank priviliges other than a token repair p/day...

So, basically when I want to make a transaction to a gold buyer, I head to the coffee shop, hop on skype with the buyer, and login to that account and withdraw the funds that I need. To be extra careful I never withdraw in larger increments than 20k (so I need to keep withdrawing) and then I ONLY sell to buyers that will do guild bank deposits, I never do Face to Face trade.

Again, this is what has worked for now. Blizzard is constantly adapting and there will come a day when this technique doesn't work and my account will get banned. However it works now and as always... there will always be ways to subvert the system. This is just my careful way to do it.

    Nothing is 100%

Also, please note that one of the reason I have not been banned is all the gold I earn I earn legitimately though being a competitive AH guru. My account doesn't get red-flagged for botting.

I'm 99% sure they won't ban non-offending accounts on the same IP as the offending account.

I came up with two ideas off the top of my head, I think the second one would be perfect but it will cost a little bit more.

    Method #1:

Spend $10 and buy the Battle Chest. Get them both in the same guild so you can transfer gold instantly. Since they're being logged into on the same IP, flags won't be raised. If you're selling the gold to a company, the new account will most likely be banned after transferring the gold and receiving $ payment.

    Method #2:

Make a level 1 on your current account, mail X amount of gold to him. If you're selling to a company, see what server's gold is going for the most. Transfer him to that server onto a new Battle.net account and sell your gold. It will probably be banned after transferring the gold and receiving payment.

Tip: You could always create the new Battle.net account under a VPN. Make sure to select a connection in the same state as yours but not too close. That way if they do ban other accounts on the same IP, there's no chance that your main account will be banned.

    Good luck man!

    !
You are correct they won't ban your account that is non-offending, but unfortunately it flags your battle.net account as a whole... When in the future you create new accounts they are often same-day banned even a completely new account you just started to bot back up the lvls. Reality is that while your non-abused accounts are fine, you taint your battle.net account as a whole and I am certain on Blizz side there are likely flags on it. Let's just say there is probably software that is probably automated to analyze new accounts for bot behavior even without being reported just by creating a new account on your flagged battle.net -- I can't confirm this, but having followed this stuff for years, there are definite trends in the botting community that have spoken about this behavior. And, blizz has only gotten more aggressive.

Just be safe and keep your battle.net account clear and as distant from such things as possible.

Hi, I need to ask you some questions, as I'm starting to sell gold too:
    - Has your guild any other member than just your owner (main account) and your gold seller ($5 account)? Cause if there are not so many characters, Blizz can think about a gbank gold selling. So do you suggest me to create a guild aimed at gold selling, or a "leveling" guild with hundreds of players who doesn't know the real aim of it?
    - How did you pay your $5 account? I'm afraid Blizz can easily discover the owner of both the credit cards used to pay the two accounts, even though having the same payment method doesn't mean belonging to the same person, as often friends share the same credit card to pay game subscriptions.
    - The most risky step is (imho) when you have to pass gold between your own characters. Every trade/gbank withdraw can be tracked as gold selling then, even between your own characters, especially if you are using different battle.net accounts.

because he wants to do it with class because clearly using a level 1 guild for this is not enough so you need a level 25 guild to show the guy you mean bizzness

    I found something interesting... :
"I was just talking to a GM on saturday about buying WoW gold and was supriesed to find out how much they really knew about it, they have picked up on AH and have things scanning when players put items on that just seem way over priced compared to what it was. They know about the guild withdrawls and the face to face. They know every way possible I have seen to trade sold gold.. its just about getting caught, since there are so many people and so much traded its hard to keep track of it all. Its all luck."

If the guy you're selling the gold to isn't a complete robot that either doesn't talk or can only say "yes sir", then you can discuss on Skype beforehand to do a /roll bet in game with you for gold. Both of you " /roll 1 100000 " in-game and doesn't matter who wins or loses the roll, you trade him a part of gold. Do this in bits of 7-8 /rolls while still talking to him in /party and everything should be ok.
