Stay within range of your banner

I just came up with what I think is a pretty inventive way of knowing how close you are to a Battle Standard of Coordination. Since the 15% buffed XP and reputation fades if you travel farther than 100 yards and the cooldown on the banner is 10 minutes, it's worth knowing just how far you can go without letting the banner drop. To make sure you stay in range, use an addon that tracks waypoints, like TomTom. Stand on top of the banner and enter in a way point for your current location. Once you move off, you should have a functional waypoint arrow that measures the longitudinal distance to the banner. Unfortunately the banner fades if you change altitude, so the 100yd distance is approximate, based on flat ground. Using this you can maximize your range when grinding mobs within a confined area for XP or rep.
