2) is there a way to stay inside the kings chamber to get more chests or freeze the timer?

Do dailies every day. & Daily random for +rep till revered then buy the charm. Or for shado pan, trash farm runs.

No. Even using a fly hack to get back, I've noticed all mobs & treasure despawns. Thus making it useless to stay in.
