    Using cross realm invites

    Hey.

Can someone tell me how the cross realm invites work?

I created a character on a new realm with my other wow account and then I invited my main account but no matter how I did the inviting it seemed that we always end up on my main's server?

Is there some sort of level thing or what's going on here? How can I get to the low pop server where my alt is?

The inviter has to be higher level then the other person.
    So example.

    Char A is 90 (on b.net account 1)
    Char B is 88 (on b.net account 2)

If Char B tries to invite Char A... they will be both on Char A's realm.
If Char B levels up to 90 and tries to invite Char A... they will be both on Char B's realm.

If however both chars are the same level but lower then 85, they will be on neither realm, chars must be 85+
Again if Char A is 85+ but Char B is lower, it will be on Char A's realm.
    Hope this helps

Iirc it's dependent on level, it will make whichever character has the max level as the host for the realm selection. Using another 90 for it would solve your problems.

Is there a way to manipulate this with ip blocking the main's server on the alt?

Incorrect, if you recive a invite from a person that is same level as you you'll be transfered to his realm. I do this all the time to own scrubs with my 80 hunter

What if my alt invites a 90 to his party on his realm before inviting my main?
