Crashing real ID

I want to bug the real id system, so my friends can't see me, and it says battle.net is unavialible(At the Social Panel)
That panel is often bugging for me, but now I want to do it manually.
How can i do that?

I believe offline mode will do this, but im not familiar enough with the drawbacks of being in offline mode as far as normal play goes. its mostly used for exploring. Go to the exploration section and there should be a post about how to get to offline mode.

This works, I do it very often. Hope it helps.

Note that you enable the outboud rule when you get to character selection screen. Doesn''t work if you enable it while you are ingame, or before starting wow client (you won't be able to login at all).

Peterfried is correct with the thread he linked. Just google: "how to block realid ports" there are actual programs that do it for you
