8th Anniversary item (+8% XP/Rep from kills) working, if in mail

Similar threads exist from 7th anniversary, but my searches didn't yield any results from this year.

If you've kept it in the mail, now's about the last day to use it. Still working, just tested. Probably disappears / erases buff on logout.

Yes, it does disappear when you log out. So pretty useless.

It does dissapear on logout/zoning, but there is a way to keep it infinite ;P

Wouldn't call likely unexpected +8% buff useless, and must be great for the power users like Felheart lol

Curious if item recovery calls it up. Could just regain it in the zone you want to use it?

I just came up with some tests, for the ones that still got it, test put it in guildbank before log out or send it to an alt before you log out, It may work to keep it from disappear. (this is just what I've thanked of, 0% sure if it works)

This works for crossing zones, as it won't disappear then. However, it still poofs upon logout.
@h4x0r, you cannot mail items with a limited duration. Dang thing could come in handy, and judging from what Fel said I assume the method is in Elite.
