Heroic Bonus Loot exploit [Theory]

I'm posting this here because theories are not allowed in the exploit section, but I need some help because I can't test this theory myself.

I was reading about another exploit with the new raid where you can get heroic loot with your bonus roll even if you killed the bosses on normal. That made me wonder if it is possible to kill bosses in say Mogushun Vault, and then switch the raid to heroic and roll for your bonus loot. (I can't test this because I don't know anyone that has full cleared to open heroic).

I would expect there is probably a very low chance of this being overlooked, but since I'm curious and unable to test it I'm posting my idea here for anyone else that wants to try it out.
