Question about preparing mats to sell in MoP.

Hey guys. I've been working on gathering a lot of mats lately. I've filled almost 12 guild bank tabs (2 guilds) with mats such as: Volatile Water, Volatile Fire, Volatile Earth, Volatile Life, Whiptail, Cinderbloom, Azshara's Veil, Stormvine, Elementium Ore, Obsidium Ore, Pyrite Ore and a lot of fish (mostly Uldum and Twilight Highlands fish).

At the moment it seems that the old JC - Enchanting trick (with Prospecting, Crafting and Disenchanting) on the Ores could still result in at least a decent amount of gold, and the fish too is at a high demand, but my question is, is it worth it to save them for MoP and sell them on the AH from there on, or just get rid of them asap? I've been reading some guides about saving mats, but I'm really curious if it actually works and people will find any use for them in MoP (except for the ones leveling new toons, tho they can represent like 90% of the buyers). It's not like I've invested too much gold in this anyway, but I'd like to hear your answers as well.

Save them and put them out on the release day, people are going to level proffs & they want mats asap.
I've got 60 stacks of obsid ore lol.

Yes, Cata mats will earn you gold. And more than you can earn for it now.

In the first days the price will skyrocket. People want to get realm first JC/BS/Alch and so on. Sure, 90% of people interested in realm first will pre-stock on mats, but there's still the 10% left.

Other than that, then I'm sure that most of your servers population will create monks. And new characters means demand for profession materials. Players who can afford to buy off the AH WILL do it. Since Cata mats are so high (425(?)-500) then it will take a little while before people starts buying.

If you have the money to it, then I suggest you to attempt and control the Cata herb/ore market upon release. Buyout everything which undercut you.
You can make some serious gold if you do it right.

After a few weeks, maybe a month or two, the market will go down. If you look at TBC and WoTLK ores and herbs then you can generally see a high price but a not-so-high demand.

I'm not sure if Pyrite is used for leveling any profession, but if it is, then I suggest you to save a little of it. It might become the new cobalt ore, (AKA "400g/stack") since it's so rare compared to obsidium and elementium.
