Affliction Warlock PvP Talents and Glyphs Guide

I am only posting the video to make it a lot easier for people... since sometimes reading a wall of text is hard.

Ok so... Talents. With the release of patch 5.0.4, all classes now have 6 tiers of talents, and you gain a tier unlock every 15 levels, so at 15, 30, 45, and so on. For tier 1, I went with Dark Regeneration, due to it's instant 30% heal, as well as increasing healing by 25% over 12 seconds. Both Soul Leech and Harvest life to me don't seem viable in PvP, though I can see where people may argue over Soul Leech.


For Tier 2 I went with Howl of Terror, due to only being on a 40 second cooldown, it makes 5 enemies within 10 yards to flee for 20 seconds, though it can be broken when the enemy is attacked. Also, when hit by an attack, the cooldown of Howl is reduced by 1 second. I don't know if this stacks though. Mortal Coil has a 45 second cooldown, can only be used on 1 target, and has a 45 second cooldown... but does give a nice heal, though I don't think it's worth it since you already have Dark Regen (if you went with that). Shadowfury does seem somewhat vialbe, but the duration on it isn't a lot, so I can't really get away.

For Tier 3, I went with Soul Link, since it makes it to where my demon and I share the damage. Though note with this talent, you will not be able to go with Grimorie of Sacrifice, which I'll get to in a bit. Sacrifical Pact is good, but the fact that my pet would be walking around with 50% health until healed or until killed doesn't seem that good to me, and just like Soul Link, you'll have to go with something other than Grimoire of Sacrifice. Dark Bargain is just like a mages caturize.. I was never a fan, and if you don't have a healer, you're screwed.

For Tier 4, I went with Unbound Will, since it's an extra PvP trinket basically, you can't beat that.

For Tier 5, I went with Grimoire of Supremacy since I prefer to use Soul Link. Sacrice and Service both are good, but in order, it goes Supremacy > Sacrifice > Service in my opinion. Sacrifice still allows you to use your pet silence, but you can't use Soul Link, which really sucks.


Since Tier 6 isn't available, I can't really tell you what's the best, though from looking at them it would appear that Archimode since if someone pops their CDs and goes ham on you, 25% of that damage goes to the enemy, or Kiljaeden's since you can cast while moving, which is pretty sweet.
