Basic understanding of duping?

What are the methods of how one can dupe items in WoW. I'm looking to invest a great deal of my time into learning how. All I really need to know is how do other dupe programs work to copy items/gold. My main idea is duping gold, but if I can understand how to also dupe items in WoW I'll galdly do so. Just need to know where to start. I will be doing some research on my own, but thought that posting here in the mean time would be a good way to collect other avenues of research.

Please don't flame or provide negative comments. I'm making the dupe out of personal interest. I don't want/need someone to skype me unless it will be productive in the long run. Thanks for reading.

I'm sure you'll be doing mankind great deal of work...for yourself. How is that encouraging for anyone with knowledge on how to dupe to show you the method?
You want info on stuff that's used as an exploit/hack. " I'm making the dupe out of personal interest." I'm sure others were doing it out of their own personal interest as well, you're not any different.

@wetop,I'm not saying specifically what needs to be done. I'm asking if someone even knows how one starts. What program or anything along those lines. I am completely aware that no one would be willing to just provide the exact information in how duping is done, but even telling me a program to start with would be helpful. It's clearly not impossible.

Posts like yours however will not help at all, why even post something that is discouraging in nature? :/

I don't see how people are not understanding the "basic"part of what I said. I never wanted someone to tell me how to do 100% I just want an idea of what to start investing my time with.

Not being realistical are you? This ain't bloody learning to ride a bike. This concerns shitload amounts of money. And info is not available. Can you imagine how many people actually want to be able to create more items out of one? or do you think it's just not practiced soo much because we care about game integrity?

Does anybody that's rich teach how to make the amount of money they made? Don't think so.

What you're asking is not something anybody will let you know about, especially not for free, and not to anyone that is not trustworthy to not spread the technique.

@Savanebunu, Ok so you're saying that there is nothing to look for, nothing to invest any time in what so ever, and nothing even remotely helpful to contribute to the creation of a dupe method? I don't see why you seem to be more than a little hostile towards this topic. It really is just something out of interest. If it's not worth my time then that is something I will determine. If there was any help in the slightest that would great! If not then I guess I'll just keep looking.

I don't know how you got the overly simplistic idea that would be comparable to learning how to "ride a bike", but lets keep the concept you provided.

The same information would be needed to "ride a bike". One would first need to know of the "bike" in order to attempt riding. That's all I'm asking for is step one, I don't give a flying **** about the other steps--that'd be too simple. I want something to do that is challenging, and that's why it will be fun for me.

I'm aware that people wouldn't want to have competitors, but there are other's who have tried to research into this subject but have had little sucess. If the program is too hard to find out then even providing any out of date dupes would be helpful. Anything at all would be nice.
