Blood Spirit Duping

Blood spirits had been selling for 5-6k each on my server for the past couple of weeks, then all of a sudden one seller posts over a hundred of them at 3.5k each. Is there some enchanting bug or exploit that hasn't been posted yet or is this just plain old duping?

Or it could be someone who has been hoarding them from a previous exploit.

There has been alot of talks about dupe exploits lately probably duped but you can never really be sure.

they have probably just been hoarding them, or bought a whole bunch bulk cheap from somebody and wanted to make a quick few hundred gold per.

if you think they duped it and you dont like it, report them

1: Duping and saying you're doing it to anyone is stupid.
2: Duping is VERY stupid unless you are low-key and only dupe enough. Going overboard WILL result in a ban when the eventual wave comes.
3: Duping will take money from the economy unless the gold is spent on buying from the 1 in 100 that are careful about it and do not get reset/banned.
4: Duping is just silly if you are doing it for anything except your own benefit.

That's like saying robbing banks are stupid, which it is. But people will still do it no matter what you voice out. And I can proudly say I am duping and no one will be able to do anything in-game to me.

The vast majority of the dupes of the Blood Spirits are done via GM stupidity, claiming you got hacked and getting your stuff restored.

Note, these are from Cataclysm. Same method still works and is being done actively.









It's easily possible to do well over 1 million gold per week using this simple method - Except, obviously, dupes/exploits involving GM's aren't allowed to be posted here, but this has been posted a few times.

I attempted this in D3 and they systematically found all my accounts and banned them. Even ones that were unrelated to my botting/selling activities.

Scamming GM's is not as simple as it sounds and holds HUGE risk.

Correct, it's not something that will work 100% of the time and you should absolutely be prepared to lose (all of) your accounts if you make a mistake. It's completely unforgiving and they will go to no end to punish you if you mess it up.

When I first started, I got sloppy. Within 5 days all of my accounts, including my main was banned for 3 days with a final warning and every single piece of gold/AH item removed. After that, I got smarter and didn't get caught again, but I was never able to do it on the scale as before simply because I couldn't get upto that level of gold again (each "GM dupe" requires a new account).

I never tried it in D3, but my latest GM dupes ingame are done through having actual Chinese people logging onto my account and selling the gold & advertising websites, turning it into a legitimate hack. Sometimes they restore, sometimes they don't. If they don't, they say it's because they can't find the gold, but I haven't been banned again yet.
