Q: Earn gold with help of the auction house

At first I have to excuse myself for my bad language skills.

Recently, I thought about methodes or techniques to earn gold with the auction house and I developed three theories.

I hope you can help me with them.

--- Theory #1 : Buy a product which is in great demand. (depends on the realm)

e.g. you buy up Elementium Ore or enchanting materials.
After that you submit it with a higher price.

This strategy takes a lot of time!
You have to be at the auction house all the time and watch your auctions.
If somebody undercuts your auction you'll buy it up.

So, you have the absolute monopol.

--- Theory #2 : Buy materials for further processing.

Means you buy e.g. Ores and prospect them.
After that you make gems and items, which you will enchant.
Thereafter you sell it. --- Simple.

--- Theory #3 : Scan the auction house for cheap items.

Here you need to observe the auction house for cheap and rare items.
For example you find Queen's Garnet for a very cheap price and you know you can sell it for much more.

Is it possible to earn very much gold with it?

I suggest you go farm the items yourself and sell the for the full price. You will only be getting 1 gold profit, if that, per item. A waste of time and effort and gold.

I did the first one with heavenly shards on my server, they were at 45-60g a stack and I raised it up to 80g per stack. Spent 5kg, made ~14kg.
