    Battle.net Item Restoration

Now you can view an online form for item restoration.
Could anyone test how long it takes for a sold item to appear in the list?
A theory of mine would be; selling an item, seeing it appear in the list and restore it, use the buyback option from the vendor ingame.
    Legit dupe method.

    A nice idea, however...
    1. You can only use the Item Restoration ONCE a month.
    2. For something so simple Blizz will almost certainly have thought of this - it may not even work.
    3. Because of 1. if this DOES work, it'd have to be selling a solitary item that is really expensive to even be worth your while.

But yeah, by all means go ahead and try, I'd be intrigued to see if it works

I assume it can't show up until after you've logged out (like armory updates), but I'll try vendoring an item while I PvP and see if it comes up.
I used to be a Super Mod. Now I'm just Super, thanks for asking.

What I think is that the items are added to the list at 01:00 server time. So vendoring an item at 00:55 wait 5 min, buy back and do item restore could still bring hope. Lets try people!

And I was thinking of items with big value's (100k plus once each month would be still nice tough haha.

Yeah, 5k fortune card is your best bet, though this theoretical exploit won't work anyway - there is however a way to memory edit certain values to make it work

So lets say it works, why not sell multiple items? For example sell twelve of the 5k Fortune Cards. Sounds sexy if it works. Also I should add that I have no idea about what the item restore thing is--other than what its name implies--nor do I know the restrictions that apply.

You can only restore items that you can equip. It is purely used for Transmog, for those items you might of sold ages ago, and regretted doing so.

The items cost the same gold that the sell price on the item is to restore, this is no possible way to dupe it, as you are going to gain 0 gold via re-selling, and that you cant get non equip-able items refunded via it.

You will be unable to restore an item if you cannot afford the gold price it would sell for, you can however restore multiple items at once.

    This.
    1) You can only restore one item per month.
    2) The system CoD's it to you, which means if you sold it you have to pay the sell price to get it back.
    No way to dupe.

Well it could have been dupeable when the system cod's it while you could still buyback the item from the vendor. Now I've noticed the item is only restorable when its no longer buybackable :s. And I would have sold Teebu's blazing longsword... sells for 100-300k gold on ah.

You cant restore items you sold on the Auction House. That would be unfair towards the player.

@Phantom "You can select more than one item during the restoration process." -Quoted from the Battle.net page.

You can restore multiple items as i recently restored my full pvp set. The items are sent to your mailbox instantly and are sent CoD.
